I've been working on a game for the Costume game jam by @thetageist and it's not looking too good. I have officially quit the project, due to me not knowing AS2 and a port to another engine seems unlikely at this point. Every time I've worked on it recently I just hate doing it and it's more of a burden at this point. I wish luck to everyone else who participated is this jam.

It's better to admit your limitations. I'm not familiar with all the details of the situation, but in the future you should have a deeper look into 'work environment stuff' before you announce your participation.
I hear 'Game Maker' is a pretty good choice when it comes to 2D games but I am not certain if it can be used for browser-based games.

I'll admit, it was stupid of me to announce a game with all of these features in an engine I've never make a game in before.
