This kind of bullshit is typical in school. You'll realize it later in life, but many adults/teachers are just as stupid as any child can be.

You can't really argue with 'em unfortunately, but in years to come you will look back and laugh... and then cry. And then maybe eat some some spaghetti.

Some of the teachers at my school can be as bad as the students sometimes.

That's absolutely ridiculous!

Yeah, that teacher really sucks. We have to do these packets with blanks to fill in and he gives us the answers and we're supposed to learn it out of nowhere.

yeah people are just douchebags sometimes

I'm so glad that the teacher is retiring this year so my brother doesn't have to deal with this BS

Yeah, I'd say "Craig" was looking for the opportunity to be an ass and found one.

I feel like there's an important part of the story missing because the teacher's analogy did not made any sense in that context. But the way you describe it the teacher did not really care what happened.

A bit of 'general' advice for cases like these: Next time, ask the teacher who does not believe you something along the lines of "Okay, but please assume for a moment that the situation happened exactly like I just described it. What 'should' I have done?" To give you an answer they have to put themselves in your shoes for a moment, which might change their perspective on what happened.
There are no guarantees, though. "Arguing" is a lot about improvisation/ability of abstraction. And like any skill, it needs practicing.

...And of course: Next time you ask somebody for something in his class do so 'verbally only' - at the risk of disturbing the class - because 'last time you tapped somebody on the shoulder, you got wrongfully accused', and you wouldn't want that to happen again.

I'm serious about what the teacher said. It pissed me off and I was confused. I just wanted to walk out of the room.

In hindsight, it wasn't the best idea to poke him. But the room was quiet and, ironically, I thought that asking him would cause more of a disturbance. I know it was a dumb move and I should've just asked him.

yeah, some teachers are like that, it honestly sucks.
sorry that happened to you dude.

Thanks man

Now at first, I’d recommend asking the other student… BUT FOR FUCKS SAKE THE TECHER SHOULD HAVE ASKED YOU YOUR POV + CRAIG SHOULD BE MORE CHILL
