So basically you’re saying that Newgrounds is glaizing big creators that don’t make great stuff?
I'm just a little worried that a bunch of 11 year olds will post their youtube shorts crap and flood the portal. I don't really have a problem with him on here, just what could happen.
THERE WERE RECORDED A ON DSI!
but this website has the slogan "Everything, by Everyone". Everyone has the right to try to do something for this site, as long as it is not AI content. This situation reminds me of the Geometry Dash level hype called Crazy Time from FedorGD2008, when the dude got a huge hype for his first attempt at creating levels, but he also got a lot of hate, which subsequently affected him badly.
I also didn't start with the best audio content when I was riveting remixes on KOCMOC one by one, but then later I stopped suffering from bullshit and now I've risen to the point where I've learned how to write basic dubstep, which I didn't know how to do before, lol.
Anyway, I think no matter how terrible animations this dude draws, he still has the right to be here, even if you don't like it. after all, no one knows yet, maybe he will one day become a popular animator. Well, if you imagine, anything can happen.
when I was just starting my career as a musician on this site, no one believed in me, everyone just thought that I wouldn't succeed, but they were happily surprised when they saw that I already had over one thousand subscribers, lol.
Hey Blake! I understand your concern, but at the end of the day, I have the right to post my work on here just as everyone else does. When I started a year ago, I had no formal experience drawing, and that's the main reason why I use stickmen. A lot of people would call that lazy, sure, but my whole aesthetic is minimalist flipnote animations, that's what my current following is based off of and a majority of people seem to like it. If you don't like the way I animate, that's fine, but I love making them, and I'm creating something just for the sheer passion of doing so. The old slogan for Newgrounds is "everything by everyone" and I think I belong here just like everyone else does. I'm sorry you feel that way, and hey, you have every right to speak your mind about this stuff, but I'm going to keep doing what I'm doing, at the end of this week, I'll reach a year of daily uploads, after which I'll be really slowing down my uploads and trying to take my time with them, because it's a miracle I haven't burned out yet. I'm already in the process of scheduling and scripting out higher quality videos, and I have an upcoming collab this Saturday which has some of the fellas from Hyun's Dojo in it... (Sorry if I'm trailing off here) Anyways, you picked a good time to say something, because I've been planning this shift in my content for sometime, and I want to start challenging myself to make better and higher quality stuff starting in March.
So TLDR; hang in there for another week, I'm pretty much creatively drained from the daily uploads and I've been ready to make this shift for a while, I appreciate your concern dude!

Thank you for responding. I really don't have a problem w/ your stuff on here. I was being dramatic (wrote it half asleep). Glad to hear that you're switching things up a bit. Always a good thing! My main concern was that <14 year olds will join the site because "gambling guy is on there!" and flood the site with crap. Nothing to do with you :) No hard feelings, man.
Local idiot thinks he decides what the quality level should be on a site that isn't his
I can be stupid sometimes. I should think about posting things more often.

Blake I must say that I see it the other way. I'd say that his work is alright quality for this site, if not a tad lacking, but either way he's still making something. And clearly people are enjoying it based off his follower count, which, also you have failed to recognize is also a partially result of his previous fortune. And as for the perceived influx of young users, that would be beneficial for the site. More users posting more content would mean more potential 60-fanners contributing hard work to the site. You yourself are a younger artist for the site and you're putting out good content; why would these newer users do any different? In conclusion, I think Raxdflipnote is doing a good thing by joining and posting to the site, and almost anyone else would be. Would it be better if he put more work into his animation? Yes, but that doesn't mean he shouldn't post it.
